Should I Build My Learning Platform from Scratch or Use WordPress?

I'm working on creating a website for a learning platform that targets about 500 subscribers in its first year. I'm pretty good with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I'm using Supabase for the database and SSLCommerz for payments. The site will have some custom calculators, a few embedded YouTube videos, and a progress tracker. I've already developed the front-end and back-end, but I'm debating whether to continue with my custom solution or switch to WordPress and its plugins, especially considering future scaling and security concerns.

Since you already have your front-end and back-end up and running, I wouldn't recommend switching to WordPress now. For around 500 users, your custom stack of Supabase plus a modern front is more than capable of handling the load. Scaling is more about framework and architecture than raw traffic, and Supabase does a great job with authentication, scaling, and security right out of the box. Just make sure you're focused on setting up proper auth rules, input validation, and separating essential logic to keep everything secure and efficient.

That makes sense! Thanks a lot. Do you have any tips on where I could learn more about best practices for security and coding etiquette?
