Why is Timeshift Taking Up So Much Space on My Boot Partition?

I'm relatively new to Linux and recently switched to Ubuntu. I've installed Timeshift for backups, but my disk usage analyzer shows that the Boot partition is at 2.0 GB, with a whopping 94% of that taken up by Timeshift, which is 1.9 GB. Is this a problem I should be concerned about? I don't understand what this means and how to fix it.

Totally understand your concern! When Timeshift saves backups to the boot partition, it can fill it up quickly. Just adjust the settings in Timeshift to store backups elsewhere, then run a new backup to clear up space. You might need to manually delete the old files from your boot folder afterward.

It looks like Timeshift is saving your backups to the boot partition instead of the right location. You should head into the Timeshift settings and change the backup destination to a different partition, like the filesystem. After that, create a new backup and you can delete the old Timeshift files that are cluttering up your boot partition. Good luck!
