I recently traveled to China and, as you know, TikTok Global doesn't work there. Now that I'm back, I can't seem to get it to work again. I've tried everything I could find online, like clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, logging in from a different phone to reset the GPS, and even resetting my phone. It's strange because my alternate account, which was also logged in during the trip, works perfectly fine. However, my main account keeps giving me an error saying I'm not in an allowed region. Does anyone have any suggestions for resolving this? Thanks in advance!

You might want to check if you have a local SIM or eSIM from China installed on your phone. TikTok may block access based on the mobile provider's home country. If you got a local SIM while traveling, even if it wasn’t from a Chinese operator, that could be causing the issue. It’s also worth noting that some global eSIMs come from regions where TikTok isn't available, which could interfere as well.
Honestly, maybe it's worth considering if you should just move on from TikTok. There’s a lot of talk about it being a propaganda tool, so sometimes it’s good to take a step back from apps like that.

The phone had a working SIM from a non-Chinese operator before I traveled, and I didn’t use a Chinese SIM. I just used a hotspot from a Chinese SIM while I was there.
