I'm currently using a 3070 Ti paired with a Ryzen 7 3700X. I have the chance to upgrade to a 5800X3D, but I can't really afford to switch to an AM5 setup at the moment, so I'm limited to AM4 for now. I mostly play games like Escape from Tarkov, Destiny 2, and Where Winds Meet. What do you all think about this upgrade?

It’s a big jump for sure! Just a heads up, the 5800X3D can be tough to find at reasonable prices. If you can snag a good deal, go for it!

I actually have a friend selling one for $280 as he’s upgrading! Seems like a fair price.

For gaming, the 5800X3D is the best processor you can get on AM4. It even performs better than most non-X3D AM5 CPUs. You won’t regret it!

True, the 7700/7700X is similar in performance. It's impressive how the 5800X3D can match them in gaming. Definitely a solid choice.
