Hey everyone! I have Fedora 42 with the KDE Plasma desktop environment set up. I'm thinking about installing it on another computer, and I want to transfer all my KDE theme settings, icons, splash screens, animations, and so on. I don't want to move any of the apps I've installed, as I prefer to set those up manually. What's the easiest way to do this? Please keep it simple—I'm quite new to all this!

You might want to try using Konsave; it's a neat tool for saving KDE settings and applying them to another installation.
Backing up your entire /home/username directory is a solid plan. After the new installation, just pop your old directory contents into the new home. Just a heads up: if the Plasma versions are really different (like 3.x vs 6.x), you could run into some issues, but minor updates should be fine.
If your home folder is on the same volume, just back it up and copy it over to the new installation! This way, you’ll get all your KDE settings along with your user profiles. Just make sure to use the same username on both systems to avoid any mix-ups. I’ve done this a few times without any major issues, though you might need to tweak a few things after transferring.
