I'm having trouble getting my system to boot up. It won't start unless I replace the newer RX 6800 graphics card with an older 2080 Super. The RX 6800 works perfectly fine in a different setup, so I suspect the issue might be related to the power supply. I'm using a SAMA 850W, and I'm concerned it can't supply enough power through the necessary 8-pin connectors for the 6800, especially since the 2080 Super only requires 6-pin connections. The other setup where the RX 6800 works has a Corsair RM750x. What do you all think?

Just to clarify, did you accidentally plug a 6-pin cable into an 8-pin connector? That could cause it not to boot. Make sure all connectors match up!
What specific model of the SAMA PSU do you have? They've got some decent budget options and others that might not be up to the task.
I found the model here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C7V6ST7M.
If you're using a 6-pin connection in an 8-pin socket, that's your problem! The GPU needs to sense all 8 pins connected to power on.
I checked—it's 6 pin to 6 pin and 8 pin to 8 pin for the RX 6800.

No, for the RX 6800, I definitely used all 8 pins! When I swapped in the 2080 Super, it only needed 6 pins, and it booted up just fine.
