I built my PC about four years ago and it has been running smoothly until now. After coming home from a week away, it just won't turn on. I replaced the power supply thinking that was the issue, but there's still no response. The LEDs aren't lighting up, the power switch doesn't work, and even shorting the power pins on the motherboard didn't help. I cleared the CMOS pins as well, but nothing changed. Is it possible that my motherboard has failed all of a sudden, or could something else be the problem? I'd really appreciate any guidance because I'm stuck here, thanks!

It sounds like a motherboard failure could be the culprit, assuming the power outlet isn't the issue. If the PSU checked out fine, that leaves the motherboard as the main suspect. Double-check all the connections though; sometimes a loose cable can be missed. Let us know what you find out!
