Need Help with CPU Overheating and Finding a Replacement Cooler

Hey everyone! I'm having some issues with my PC that hasn't been used in a couple of years due to some life changes. Now that I've plugged it in, I'm getting warnings about my CPU overheating, hitting over 90°C! I already removed the fan and applied new thermal paste, but that didn't solve the problem. I suspect my Corsair H45 liquid cooler might be failing since it's no longer available for purchase. Can anyone recommend a comparable cooler that would be easy to install, allowing me to just plug in the same wires? Any suggestions for good replacements would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

It sounds like the pump in your cooler has likely failed. You might not need an all-in-one (AIO) cooler, though. You can check out this air cooler: [ID-Cooling SE-224 XTS](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bh26Mp/id-cooling-se-224-xts-70-cfm-cpu-cooler-se-224-xts). It should work just fine for you.

Are regular air coolers as effective as liquid coolers?
