I'm currently running a Ryzen 7 2700X, a GTX 1060, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM, but my motherboard broke. I've just purchased a new Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H motherboard along with a new case since my old one was a test bench that didn't work out. Now, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU. I'm considering either a RTX 2080 or a 3060, but I might also settle for a 1660 if the price is right. I mainly play Minecraft at high settings and Fortnite, but I've been struggling to load into Fortnite smoothly. Any suggestions?

By the way, are you playing at 1080p? Also, which graphic settings are you using? Tuning those can sometimes provide you with the FPS boost you're looking for!
Also, if you're having loading issues with Fortnite, it might be worth investing in an SSD. That would likely improve your load times significantly compared to an HDD.
If you want to boost your FPS, I recommend looking into something like a RTX 3070 or even an RTX 2080 Ti if you can snag it for around $225-240. They’ll handle games like Fortnite and Minecraft really well, especially with those higher settings you’re aiming for.

Yeah, an SSD can make a huge difference! Definitely something to consider if you're looking for smoother gameplay.
