I'm putting together my first PC and have basic knowledge about it. I'm aiming for a future-proof setup that can handle most games, and my budget is a maximum of $2200. Here's the link to my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/t8vwMC. I'd love to hear your thoughts and any suggestions for improvement!

I suggest reducing your motherboard and keyboard budget by about $100 each. This could free up some cash for a more capable GPU, like the 9070 XT, which will make a huge difference.

I recently got a WD SD5000 2TB for only $124. It’s perfect for general use, and if you find a deal like that, it could save you a good chunk of money. Definitely worth checking your local Walmart!

Knowing what kind of games you'll play is essential. If you're into fast-paced shooters, you'll need a setup that can deliver consistent performance, unlike something more relaxed like Elden Ring.

You might want to consider downgrading your CPU a bit; it seems to be the weakest link in your build. The SSD is great, but it’s more performance than you likely need right now. Also, try checking places like hardwareswap for cheaper RAM and keep an eye on slickdeals for monitor sales. Overall, your build looks solid and should work well for most games for years, but there's room to cut costs without compromising quality.
