Is a Used 5700X Setup for 300 Euros a Good Deal?

I'm considering purchasing a used 5700X with a compatible motherboard and 32GB of DDR4 RAM for 300 Euros. I recently got a 9070 XT at a great price, and I want to upgrade my current setup, which has an i7-8700K and only 16GB of 2133MHz RAM. Do you think this used setup is worth it, or should I hold out for AM5 and DDR5 options in the future?

Six months ago, I’d say no way, but now it seems like a fair price given the current market situation. Just be cautious about the motherboard; a B350 wouldn’t be ideal. You want something more up-to-date.

Good to know! It’s a B550, so I think that’ll be fine.

While it might not be the absolute best deal, it's far from being a bad one right now. If you can, maybe see if you can haggle the price down to around 250 Euros!

It really depends on the specifications of the RAM. If it's a B450M Pro motherboard and at least 3200MHz, then it's definitely worth considering!

Yup, it’s a B550 and 3200MHz. I’ve got four sticks instead of two, but that’s okay for me.
