I recently got an iPhone 17 and while customizing it, I accidentally typed the wrong passcode without realizing it. Now, I can't remember the correct passcode, and it says 'iPhone unavailable.' I don't have 'Find My iPhone' turned on, so I can't even see the option to reset it. I've heard there are ways to recover the phone myself, but I don't have access to a compatible PC or Mac. Can I go to an Apple Store to get it factory reset instead? I have proof of ownership and my Apple ID details.

Have you tried following the steps from Apple’s support website? If those didn’t work, you'll definitely need to visit an Apple Store for assistance if you can’t borrow a computer to restore it yourself. They should be able to help you out as long as you have proof of ownership!

I haven’t tried them because my 'Find My iPhone' is off, so all I see is the 'iPhone unavailable' message. I’ve read about putting it into recovery mode, but I just don’t have a computer. Do you think Apple would help with a factory reset?
