I'm looking for some advice on whether it's worth spending about 240 CAD (or 173 USD) more for the 7800X3D compared to the 9600X. I'm planning to pair either of these CPUs with a 9070 XT graphics card and a B850 motherboard, mainly for gaming at 1080p and 1440p. Thanks for your thoughts!

If your budget allows it, definitely go for the 7800X3D! It's a solid upgrade and will give you better performance, especially at higher settings.
Really? I heard they perform similarly at 1440p.
