Seeking Recommendations for Learning Opportunities

My manager mentioned that I could ask the company to cover the costs for classes or conferences that help me develop job-related skills. I currently work with Java, Javascript, Python, AWS, and Azure, and I'm looking for suggestions. Are there any paid classes or conferences that are worth it compared to the free options available?

If your company will pay, why not consider getting an advanced degree or a graduate certificate? I’m doing an OMSCS through CU Boulder, which has great online options through Coursera, including certificates in AI, Data Science, and more. You might want to check them out!

Thanks for the advice! I thought about a degree, but my company doesn’t reimburse for long programs. Any tips on how to convince them I need a degree without suggesting my current skills aren't enough?

Honestly, I’ve dabbled in a lot of paid courses, but nothing beats getting hands-on with projects while using free resources like FreeCodeCamp. You really start to learn the most when you apply what you’ve learned.
