I'm having a problem with my MacBook 3 where I can't type anything in the terminal. It just gets stuck on the login screen and says 'process complete.' I've searched everywhere for a solution and can't find anyone experiencing the same issue. Can anyone help me figure this out?

When you open the terminal, try going to the top menu, select 'Shell', and then hit 'New Command.' That might help reset things for you.
Check your Terminal settings. Go to the Terminal menu, then Settings, and look under the Profiles tab. Make sure the default profile is selected. Then, switch to the Shell tab - see if there's a 'Run command' configured. If there is, try deleting it. If that doesn’t work, maybe give iTerm2 a try instead.
I accidentally clicked on something and now I can’t get iTerm2 to open either.
Could you provide a bit more detail about your issue? Being stuck at login isn't the same as not being able to type into the terminal. Can you clarify a bit?
I’m stuck on the terminal interface and literally can’t type anything at all. Here’s a screenshot of what it looks like for me.

I tried that but the same issue just popped back up.
