I've recently built a PC with an AMD Ryzen 5900x, Radeon 7900 XT, and 32 GB of G Skills RAM. I also have two NVMe drives (1TB and 2TB) and an ROG STRIX B550-A gaming motherboard connected to an EVGA 750 GT gold-rated PSU. Here's the issue: every time I try to start my PC from a shutdown state, it goes straight to the BIOS instead of booting into Windows. This problem started after I updated my BIOS—something I hadn't done in about two years (I realize now that I should've done it sooner).
I've tried switching from fast boot to normal boot, checked the seatings of the 8-pin and 24-pin connections, and even tested my USB stick to make sure the BIOS update wasn't faulty. I reseated the CMOS battery and verified it's functioning. I also went back to an older BIOS version to see if that would help, but no luck.
I suspect it might have something to do with RAID since I have two NVMe drives and I've noticed an option for ACHI instead of RAID, which might be causing issues. I'm in the process of setting up RAID with AMD, but I'm starting to doubt that will solve the problem. At this point, I'm considering just overriding the BIOS to load the Windows boot driver each time. I even performed a clean installation of Windows 11 through the repair option. Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated—I'd really like to stop seeing the BIOS screen every time!

It sounds like you might need to adjust a couple of settings in your BIOS. First, double-check the boot order to ensure your SSD is at the top of the list. If the SSD isn't being recognized properly, you might also want to consider reactivating it.
You should definitely make sure you’ve selected the correct boot mode for your SSD. If your SSD is set to MBR, go for Legacy/CSM mode, and if it's GPT, set it to UEFI. Also, check that the boot priority is set to the SSD with your OS on it, just in case the boot record might have been installed on another drive.
Thanks for the tip! I'm not too familiar with partition types. How can I check what type of partition my SSD is?

I looked into it, and the boot order seems fine. My SSD is set as the priority. I'm still unsure about how to reactivate my NVMe though.
