I'm considering buying a 5070 Ti for $1,000 CAD. Do you think that's a fair price, or should I hold out for something better? I'm guessing prices won't drop much in the near future.

You should look into the 9070 XT as well. It could be a bit cheaper than the 5070 Ti where you’re located. It's worth comparing prices.
I think $1,000 is a bit steep for the 5070 Ti. Are you buying it new? I’ve been hunting for one too, but I haven’t seen any falling below $1,100 lately.
Honestly, I wouldn't pay that much. You might find a good deal on a used card instead. I nabbed a new 7900 XT for about 650 CAD—plus, there's no tax on used items, so that's a win. Just make sure whatever you buy is in working order!
