What should I do about bent motherboard pins?

I have a motherboard with some bent pins, and three of them are sticking out higher than the others. I'm worried about what will happen if I try to install a CPU with the pins like this. Is there anything I can do, or is this going to cause issues? I know I have a few other pins that are also bent.

I'd recommend posting pictures of the pins if you can. It'll help others give more tailored advice. If you're not able to show them, just be cautious with the CPU installation and see how things look afterwards!

I tried posting pictures, but the platform wouldn't allow it. Frustrating!

You could try installing the CPU. In theory, when you push it down, the CPU might push those bent pins back into place. But honestly, if you have other already broken pins, there's a chance the connection could still be bad. Just be careful!

Yeah, that's what I heard too. It's a bit of a gamble, but if you're careful, it might work out.
