Is $290 a Good Deal for a PC with an RTX 6000?

I'm considering buying a used PC for $290 that has a Quadro RTX 6000 GPU, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, and an i7 13th gen CPU. The GPU has 5080 drivers installed. I've built PCs before, but I'm not sure how the RTX 6000 will perform compared to my current RX 6600 XT 8 GB, especially since I'm used to gaming and this is a workstation card. The seller claims he got these from work where they upgraded their PCs, so he's selling them at a low price. Is this a good deal?

You mention an RTX 6000—just to clarify, that really exists as a Quadro card, not a GeForce. If that's what you're getting, it's a legitimate deal for a workstation card, but check what '5080 drivers' means in this context. It might not be what you expect.

Honestly, for $290, you might be walking into a scam. Just be careful and do your research before buying, especially if it sounds too good to be true.

The Quadro RTX 6000 is comparable to the GeForce RTX Titan card, which performs really well for gaming. It's better than the 2080 Ti but keep in mind it's designed as a workstation card. If you can snag it for $290, it could be a solid upgrade, but make sure it's in good working condition.
