I'm interested in trying out Linux as my second operating system and would love some recommendations. Specifically, I'm looking for a distribution that has great compatibility with Nvidia RTX series graphics cards and Intel processors. Any suggestions?

PopOS is a great choice! They have a specific version for Nvidia graphics that makes setup really easy.

If you’re coming from Windows, ZorinOS is really user-friendly and might be perfect for you!

I've been using Bazzite, and it's been pretty solid. It has good support for Nvidia drivers, which is a plus!

I totally agree with Bazzite! Even though I'm not an Nvidia user, I've heard that it's one of the easiest distros for handling those drivers.

I did see some gameplay tests on Bazzite with a 1060, and it wasn’t impressive compared to Windows. I still want to try it with my 3080 though!

You might want to try getting an external SSD and use Ventoy to test a few distros like Mint, Kubuntu, and Manjaro. It's a great way to see what you like!

I gave Mint a shot and honestly, it wasn’t for me, and neither was Ubuntu. But I think I might give PopOS or Bazzite a go next!
