Need Help Choosing the Right GPU for My First PC Build

I'm excited to announce that I'm building my first PC after years of using a laptop! I've already purchased a bundle from Microcenter that includes an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, a Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX v2 motherboard, and 32GB of Crucial Pro Overclocking DDR5-6000 RAM. Now, I'm on the hunt for the perfect GPU to complement my build.

My primary goals for this PC are gaming at 1080p and 144Hz, along with some productivity tasks. I plan to play less-intensive games like CS2 and Valorant, but I also want the capability to tackle more demanding games if I choose to later. I'm hoping to find a good value GPU that fits my budget. Currently, I'm considering options like the RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 5070, but I'm open to more budget-friendly alternatives that still deliver great performance.

If you're on a tight budget, the 9060 XT is a solid option. It's great for 1080p gaming and will perform well enough for your needs. Many people have found it to be the best value card right now.

The 9060 XT 16GB offers excellent value, but if you're looking for something more powerful, consider the 5070 or 9070 series. Just keep in mind that for 1080p gaming, the 9060 XT should be more than sufficient!

Thanks for the insights! I’m leaning towards the 9060 XT but will keep my options open for the 5070 or 9070.
