Recommendations for a USB DAC to Solve Speaker Buzzing

I've been having some buzzing sounds from my speakers when they're connected to the PC's back panel. To tackle this issue, I'm considering getting a USB DAC since it's a more affordable solution than putting up with the buzzing. One option I've looked into is the Ugreen US205, which costs around 20 PLN (or 30 PLN including delivery). Does anyone have suggestions for similarly priced alternatives?

Instead of a USB DAC, consider using an old TV receiver. I have a Yamaha RX-V377 that I use with optical audio from my PC, but you can also connect via HDMI. You can find quality used receivers for a decent price, and they might solve your buzzing problem.

It sounds like you might want to check other options before going for a USB DAC. I faced similar noise issues before, and switched to using optical instead, which cleared things right up. If your motherboard has optical support, that might be your best bet!

Unfortunately, my motherboard is a microATX, and it doesn't support optical. Guess I'm stuck looking for USB options.

By the way, when you mention buzzing, is it more like a 60 Hz hum? If so, it might be a failing capacitor in your speaker’s power supply. I had that with my old computer speakers. I replaced the capacitor, and it stopped buzzing completely!
