I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm torn between the 5070ti and the 9070xt. Recently, I bought an LG C5 OLED TV that supports G-Sync. I've always been a fan of Team Red for budget reasons, but my previous monitor supported FreeSync. Now that I have a TV with G-Sync, and considering the upcoming DLSS 4.5, I'm leaning towards the 5070ti for its performance at 4K144. The 5070ti costs around $1400-1500 AUD, while the 9070xt is about $1150 AUD. Is the 5070ti worth the extra $350?

Honestly, $350 is too steep. In Canada, I'd only consider the 5070ti if the price difference was around $150 CAD. The 5070ti offers better upscaling with DLSS 4.5 and slightly improved raw power, but the 9070xt is usually cheaper and works well with AMD CPUs thanks to Smart Access Memory.
While the 5070ti is generally a better card, the additional $350 isn't justified. I faced the same choice and ended up with the XFX Mercury 9070xt, and I have no regrets!
If I were you, I'd go for the 9070xt and save that cash. The performance difference is pretty minimal, and honestly, I find the frame generation feature a bit laggy, so I usually leave it off anyway.
That's totally valid! I'm currently running a 7090xt and I only plan to use dynamic frame generation sparingly. I'll just make sure my games hit that 144fps cap.
From what I've seen in benchmarks, these two cards are neck and neck. Definitely lean towards the 9070xt since it's more budget-friendly. The 5070ti is great, but you're mainly paying more for DLSS and frame generation if you plan to use those features. Just make sure to invest in a solid PSU for the 9070xt, ideally 850W.
Honestly, it's not worth the extra cash. NVIDIA might offer some premium features, but that's a steep price jump for not enough performance boost.

I totally forgot about Smart Access Memory—good point!
