I'm currently running a Ryzen 5 3600 with a 1660 Super and 16GB of 4000Hz RAM. I'm considering upgrading my system but I also found a used PC that has an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 3080 Ti, and 32GB of 3600Hz RAM for about 1300 euros. The catch is that I can't find new parts for an upgrade at a reasonable price; the best I could do is a 7800X3D for 420 euros, plus GPUS and RAM are pricey too. Given that I have a MSI B550 Gaming Carbon WiFi motherboard and an 850W Corsair Gold PSU, what would you suggest? Should I upgrade my current setup or go for the used PC?

If your current parts still serve you well and you’re not in a rush, you might want to wait. Prices for GPUs and CPUs could possibly drop in the coming months, especially as new generations are released. But if you find yourself wanting better performance now for gaming or productivity, that used PC could be a steal! Just do your research on the used parts to avoid any surprises.
If you're looking for better performance, going for the used PC sounds like a solid plan, especially with that Ryzen 7 and 3080 Ti combo. Those components would give you a significant bump in gaming and productivity. Plus, 32GB of RAM is great for multitasking! Also, your current setup would require quite a bit of investment to match that performance level, considering CPU, GPU, and RAM costs these days. Just make sure to check the used PC’s condition before buying.
Yeah, make sure the seller is reliable and check for any warranties or return policies. It's worth investing in a good used rig if it saves you money in the long run!

True, waiting might save you some cash, but it depends on your gaming needs. If your current rig is struggling, that might not be an option!
