Why is my friend’s PC crashing constantly after an upgrade?

My friend's computer keeps crashing, especially when loading into Hytale. The fans rev up loudly, and there's no blue screen before it crashes. Additionally, he's having trouble installing Nvidia drivers because of an 'Unable to connect to Nvidia' error. Sometimes, when it crashes in other games, a blue screen talks about a memory issue. This problem started after he got his PC upgraded at a repair shop. Here are his specs: Windows 11, RTX 5060, AMD Ryzen 5 5600XT 6-Core Processor with a B450 TOMAHAWK MAX motherboard.

While you're sorting that out, try running the command 'sfc /scannow' in the Command Prompt. Just keep in mind it may hang up at times; if it does, that could indicate underlying issues. Just ensure you’re running it as an administrator. This might help fix any corrupted files!

Have you gotten a screenshot of the blue screen error? That can reveal a lot about what's going wrong. If it looks like any common errors, we can troubleshoot from there! Also, copying the image link here could help us visualize the problem.

If the SFC command keeps stopping at 79%, it suggests there might be some bigger issues at play. It might need a repair or a more thorough checkup. Have you guys tried running a full system scan or using tools like DISM? They can sometimes clear up problems that SFC can’t handle!

First off, you should definitely look into those crash dump files for more insight. If he can boot into Windows or even Safe Mode, he should check C:WindowsMinidump for any files there. Once found, zip the folder and upload it to a file sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire, since Reddit can be picky about file hosts. Having multiple dumps might help us pinpoint the issue better!
