Should I Upgrade My PC Now or Save for a New Build?

Hey everyone! It's been over 12 years since I built my first PC, and I'm feeling pretty lost looking at options now. Here's what I've got:

- **GTX 2060 Stormx** - I think it has 6 or 8GB, but I mostly see 6GB online.
- **ASUS Z-270-A Motherboard** - No issues here; I have my CPU overclocked through the BIOS.
- **Intel I5-6700K Processor** - It's always hitting 100% usage, especially when gaming and running Discord. Is the I7-7700K a good direct upgrade?
- **Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16GB RAM.**
- **Storage** - I have both an SSD and an HDD.

I've got other priorities to save for, but I'm wondering if there are any affordable upgrades that could boost my performance. I mainly play Tarkov, Arma, SpaceMarine, Helldivers 2, and GTAV Enhanced. I'm located in Scotland, and any advice would be appreciated!

Have you thought about looking for a secondhand prebuilt PC that doesn’t include RAM? It might save you a bit of money while still giving you a decent performance boost.

I've checked my local listings, but there haven't been many options. I'll keep searching, though!

Honestly, with your current setup, upgrading might not do much since many of your parts could bottleneck each other. You might be better off starting fresh with a new build. If you really want to upgrade, maybe just keep your RAM and look at a new motherboard and CPU combo.

Yeah, I'm getting kind of desperate. I can't run most games above low settings, and I've been dealing with crashes and stuttering a lot.
