I'm considering using a USB-C to barrel jack cable with my Dell laptop. My goal is to carry my phone charger and use it for everything. The laptop's adapter outputs 19.5V at 3.34A, while my phone charger outputs 5V at 3A or 9V at 2.77A. Is this feasible?

A 5V or even 9V charger won't effectively charge a laptop that's designed for 19.5V. The voltage needs to match for proper charging speeds, so it’s unlikely to work without a proper adapter. Keep in mind that laptop charging requires a lot more power than what your phone charger can provide!
I have a Dell Inspiron and it only works with an original Dell charger. Even a replacement brick with the right specs didn’t help. Be careful trying to use a non-standard charger with your laptop; it might not charge at all!

I figured it might not work, but it’s good to know for sure. Thanks for clarifying!
