How Can I Install New Drivers After Upgrading My Motherboard?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my motherboard along with other parts of my system, and now I can't boot into Windows. I suspect it's because my storage drivers are tied to the old board. What are my options for installing the new drivers without being able to boot into my operating system? Thanks in advance!

I tried plugging my drive back into the original motherboard and booted into Windows fine, but it wouldn’t let me install the new drivers because it claimed they were unsupported on that setup.

Quick tech tip: If you're planning on switching hardware, it’s best to install the new drivers beforehand. That way, you can avoid these headaches!

A good start is to use another PC to download the necessary drivers onto a USB thumb drive. Also, check your BIOS settings; toggling RAID on or off might help, too!

It’s probably not just a storage driver issue—it might be related to TPM. You may need to reinstall Windows on the new setup. After that, log back into your account, and you should be able to access everything on your drive as long as you choose to keep your files.

I can boot into Windows, but it freezes at the login screen and then gives a driver power state failure blue screen.
