Concerning the RAM, for your x3D chip, you could save some bucks with CL36 RAM instead of CL30 without much difference in performance. Also, be aware that the power supply fan might be louder than expected. Enjoy building!
One little note: the Crucial SSD is decent but the Samsung one is significantly better and fits your other high-end components. It might save you a bit of hassle later if you could get a better SSD.
Looks pretty solid overall! Just a heads up, the RTX 5070 Ti has about 15% lower performance compared to the 5080 but at a much better price. If you're gaming on an ultrawide at high settings, consider that saving. That being said, both options should serve you well.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Do you think the 5070 Ti would be able to handle a 3440x1440 display at around 175 Hz in AAA games? I want it to be smooth without cutting back on graphics.
I went with the 5070 Ti as well, after some thought about the Shadow/5080. The price difference for not much extra power made the 5070 Ti a smart choice for me. Performance is solid, and I’d say both cards should last quite a while. Just make sure to get an adequately cooled version if you do go 5080!
As a newcomer myself, I’ve picked up a ton in the last couple of months planning a massive upgrade. Your rig looks incredible! Enjoy your AM5 experience while I’m still on AM4 for a while longer.
Thanks! Glad to hear my research was on point. It's a bit of an investment, but I'm hoping it'll last me a few years without needing upgrades.

Good tip! I appreciate the advice. I'm all about making this build the best it can be.
