I'm experiencing a serious issue with my Windows 11 PC that I can't seem to fix. I keep getting blue and green screens, and I can't access Windows at all! Even an attempt to use a USB stick for repair isn't working. Here are some error codes I've encountered:
- Inaccessible boot device
- 0xc000428
- mvumis.sys
- tcpip.sys
- Hypervisor error
- Kernel mode heap corruption
Automatic repair doesn't seem to help, and safe mode isn't working either. I suspect this all started after a recent Windows update. I was gaming for about three hours when the PC crashed during a CS2 match.
Additionally, I've formatted my M.2 drive, but it still crashes when I try to reinstall Windows. I'm beginning to think it may be a hardware issue. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Have you checked the BIOS settings? Try turning off Enhanced Windows Biometric Security and Secure Boot if they're enabled. Sometimes those settings can cause boot issues.
The 'Inaccessible boot device' error often indicates that your drive is failing. If it’s an NVMe drive, there’s a chance you could clone it to a new drive to save your data, which would be way easier than starting over completely.
I only see that message when I attempt to boot from the USB stick, so I’m not sure what's next.
You might want to try accessing Windows Recovery Mode. Power on the PC and turn it off three times as soon as you see the manufacturer's logo. It should then load into the recovery options. Just a heads up, though—I've seen some cases where it crashes even in recovery mode, so be prepared for that.
Unfortunately, it crashes during that too. I've tried using the restore recovery point, but that doesn't work either.
Yes, I’ll check that. They should both be off, right?
