Will a 5070 Graphics Card Handle 4K Gaming at High Settings?

I've been gaming on consoles my whole life, currently on a PS5, but I'm excited to transition into PC gaming. I scored a great deal on a small form factor setup with a 7800x3d and 5070 FE graphics card.

My main goal is to achieve the highest visual fidelity in 4K resolution, but I'm not too concerned about hitting 100+ FPS. I primarily play single-player story games on my 4K OLED TV, and I don't do much multiplayer gaming. I'll mainly be using a controller, so the top-tier FPS isn't essential for me.

Do you think the 5070 will meet my expectations, or should I look into upgrading to the 5070 Ti? I've heard the 5070 Ti offers better performance, being closer to the 5080 without the hefty price tag.

If you're aiming for max settings, the 5070 Ti would definitely be a better option. It has more VRAM, which helps a lot. Most games I run at DLSS quality settings, and for heavier titles like Indiana Jones, I switch to DLSS performance at max settings without any issues.

Honestly, getting 60 FPS at 4K ultra settings can be tough, even on higher-end cards like the 5090 in some titles. The 5070 might struggle with true 4K gaming due to its limited VRAM and slower speeds. You could manage entry-level 4K with medium to high settings, especially if you use upscaling techniques, but don't expect miracles without RT.

It doesn't have to be native, right? I'm totally fine with using DLSS and frame generation to boost FPS.
