I'm having trouble adding music to a clip I've created. When I go to my music favorites, it's showing nothing, and the same thing happens when I search for songs. The app directs me to iTunes, but it's been ages since I used my computer or laptop. I'm still logged into the same account I've had forever and primarily use my phone and the music app. I do pay for Apple Music, but the song I want to add is one that I own from when I had an iPod, so it's not just something from Apple Music. I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max, if that makes a difference. I've made clips in the app before, but never with music. I've checked for updates and restarted my phone. I'm trying to stay calm after spending time trimming the video, so any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, if you’re using the Clips app, that’s likely the issue. Since it's discontinued, Apple might not support it anymore, leading to problems like the one you're facing. It might be a good idea to switch to iMovie for your projects, as it’s still supported and has more features.
Are you using iMovie or the Clips app? Just a heads up, the Clips app has been discontinued, which might be why you’re having trouble with music not showing up. If you are using iMovie, though, definitely check if it’s the latest version or if your music files are compatible with the app!
