I'm playing Black Ops 6 on a new setup with a 14900K CPU, 5090 GPU, and I got about 208 FPS on the benchmark, with 161 in the 1% lows. I watched a YouTube benchmark where they got 296 FPS with a 4090. I switched to a 7800X3D with the same 5090, expecting better performance, but ended up with only 186 FPS and 128 in 1% lows! I'm confused and a bit frustrated. How can I have such low FPS compared to others, especially when I'm using supposedly better components? I've linked some of my benchmark stats here: https://imgur.com/a/liypazx. Any insights would really help!

For real, if your FPS is around 140-170 at 1440p, that’s actually pretty good! Your setup is strong. Just don’t get too hung up comparing it to benchmarkers who might have different conditions.
Hey, it looks like resolution might be a factor here. You're running at 1440p while that YouTuber is benchmarking at 1080p. That alone can cause a pretty significant difference in FPS. Might be worth checking if there are other settings that could optimize your performance too!
You should definitely look into your memory specs. Low 1% lows often indicate a memory bottleneck, especially with that 14900K. Tuning your memory could help boost your performance. What sticks are you using?
Yeah, it sounds like the YouTuber's using the 'Basic' preset which can really boost performance. Try lowering your settings or enable DLSS at a quality preset to help you out at 1440p.
Honestly, I think sometimes we get too caught up in benchmarks. You're still getting over 120 FPS which is pretty solid. Maybe just enjoy the game without stressing over the numbers too much!
Totally agree! But I get where you're coming from since you want to make sure your setup is performing at its best for the money spent.
