PC Won’t Post After Moving: Any Ideas?

I've got a build with a Ryzen 9 5950X and an EVGA 3080 FTW3, but it won't post after being in storage for four months. I've updated the power supply to an Antec one since the old SAMA PSU was causing issues. It powers on, lights up, and two of the three AIO fans spin, but still no post. I tried different DisplayPort ports and even swapped in a GTX 970, but nothing seems to work. I've also removed and replaced the CMOS battery and shorted the clear CMOS pins, but no luck. This setup was pretty much new and worked perfectly before I stored it. Any idea what might be causing this?

It sounds like you did a lot of the right troubleshooting already! Since the PSU was an issue, make sure the new one is properly connected to the motherboard and GPU. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause no post issues. If you can, try testing with just one stick of RAM and see if it posts. Also, double-check the motherboard connections—especially power cables. If you're still having trouble, there may be a chance the motherboard got damaged during the move.

Good point! I had a similar issue and just reseating the RAM and connections did the trick for me. Definitely worth a try!

Sounds like it might be a motherboard issue, especially since it worked before storage. You might want to inspect it closely for any signs of damage or loose components. If you have a multimeter, testing the power supply outputs could also rule out power supply issues, even if it's new.

Yeah, checking for visible damage is smart. Always a good idea to ensure there are no bent pins or similar issues!
