About a year ago, I had to transfer some of my .com domains from the now-closed Google Domains to Squarespace. I'm considering moving them again to a cheaper registrar in 2026. Can anyone suggest good options for transferring my domains? I run a small GitHub-based site, so I don't require any fancy features. I came across an older post with recommendations for 2024—are those suggestions still relevant, or has anything changed since then?

I recently switched to Cloudflare myself. After comparing migration fees, they ended up being the most affordable option for me, especially considering the one-year renewal included.
Cloudflare is solid for domains, but keep in mind that you're locked into their DNS. Just be sure that's okay for you before making the switch.
