How can I stop accidentally pressing commands while gaming?

I keep running into an annoying issue while gaming where I accidentally press certain keys that trigger commands. This happens about 60% of the time and leads to frustrating results, like my W key opening the Word app, Windows going into copilot mode, or my Tab and Esc keys switching between tabs. I really want to find a way to fix this or at least turn off those commands because it ruins my gaming experience, especially when I'm streaming or in a competitive match. Just to clarify, my keys are not broken, and I've experienced this on two different 60% keyboards.

Consider getting a keyboard that allows you to disable the Windows key specifically. It can make a big difference during gameplay!

Yeah, definitely look for a 'gaming' keyboard. They often have features like that!

I removed the left Windows key from my keyboard, and it helped a lot to prevent those accidental presses while gaming!

If you’re hitting the Windows key while pressing Ctrl or Alt, that’s probably the problem. Some games offer an option to disable the Windows key while you’re playing, so check the game settings.
