Why does enabling XMP cause a boot loop on my PC?

I'm having trouble with my PC where enabling XMP settings leads to a boot loop, forcing me to revert to factory settings just to start it up. I'm not sure if this is due to incompatibility between my CPU, RAM, or motherboard. I'm not an expert in building PCs, so any insights would be greatly appreciated! Here's a link to my part list for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/SSF24681/saved/jh46XL .

When you enable XMP, you're essentially trying to overclock your RAM, and it's not guaranteed to work with every setup. Each component can behave differently, and sometimes XMP just isn't stable. First, check if your motherboard has a BIOS update—this can help with XMP compatibility. Also, make sure the RAM is securely installed in the slots. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely check the BIOS update and reseat the RAM. It's been a while since I last updated my motherboard.
