I've been noticing that there's a delay of about 5 to 10 minutes for emails arriving in the Google Workspace environment. It's hard to tell how widespread this issue is, but I've seen a lot of reports on Downdetector indicating problems. When I perform an email log search, I come across messages stating things like 'Inserted into Gmail delivery pipeline' and 'Temporary System Problem. Try again later.' Has anyone else encountered this?

Same here! Emails are arriving about 15 minutes late, and I've seen obvious spam entering my inbox. It's been a frustrating day for email users!
I've noticed a drop in the email filter's effectiveness too. My Workspace for Education has been okay, but my personal Gmail is flooded with spam. It looks like people are experiencing similar issues with delays and spam getting through.
This is a good reminder that email wasn't designed to be instantaneous. It's rare, but it definitely highlights some of the limitations we can face with email services.
You can check the status dashboard for ongoing incidents and updates. Here's the link: https://www.google.com/appsstatus/dashboard/incidents/NNnDkY9CJ36annsfytjQ. It's definitely frustrating, but they usually take care of it pretty quickly.
It seems like Google was feeling a bit left out after Microsoft had their issues earlier this week. Might just be some temporary hiccups on their end. Hang tight for now!
