I'm having an issue where my Ethernet connection drops after starting my computer, and I'm not sure if it's a problem with Linux, my Ethernet port, or the cable itself. My motherboard is an ASUS B650 ProArt, and I noticed that the Ethernet cable LED doesn't light up when the issue occurs. Can anyone help me diagnose this?

If the link lights aren’t turning on, you should check your hardware. You might want to inspect the Ethernet ports both on the motherboard and your router to see if they're functioning properly.
It sounds like you should start troubleshooting by swapping out the Ethernet cable to rule that out. You might also want to try connecting to a different port on your router and maybe reboot the router itself. If you have access to a Linux live boot, give that a shot to see if the network works there.
