I've recently put together an amazing AMD build featuring a 9950x3d processor and 32GB of RAM. Currently, I have a 10th gen i9 system with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and an EVGA 3080 Ultra FTW3, which I plan to keep intact. In addition, I already have another 3080 that's brand new in the box, and a 3090 Asus TUF with a faulty fan. I'm considering whether to sell these two cards—I've got offers on eBay—or use one of them in my new setup. My main question is: is this a wise decision? I don't have a deep technical understanding of hardware, but I enjoy building PCs. Also, I'm concerned about whether sticking with a 30 series card will bottleneck my new AMD setup. My usage is quite diverse, ranging from indie games and competitive multiplayer games to full-time graphic design work, and I rely heavily on my computer for both work and fun. Considering cost-to-performance, what's the best option for me? Should I keep my old GPU, or upgrade?

You should definitely look into what 50 series cards are available for the money you would get from selling your current GPUs. If you can grab a 5080, even at the current inflated prices, that could be a solid move. I wouldn't go for the 5090 unless you're willing to pay a lot more.
