How can I transfer music files from Windows 11 to my Android phone?

I'm really frustrated right now. I've been transferring music to my devices since the early 2000s, and it was always straightforward—just plug in the phone, switch to file transfer mode, and copy the files. But now with Windows 11, everything seems tied to the cloud, and it's become a huge hassle. Sometimes only half my music shows up, or the folders are empty, and I'm not sure what to do to disable all these cloud features. Can anyone help me figure out how to get back to normal file transfers? Also, can someone remind me how to copy and paste music files to my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?

One way to make file transfers easier is by using Quick Share from the Microsoft Store. It lets you send files back and forth without going through the cloud. It might save you some hassle!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll give that a try.

Just connect your phone via USB, make sure the USB mode is set to 'file transfer', and then you can copy your music files directly into the 'music' folder on your phone. It should work!

I already did that, but it didn't work for me.
