Looking for Motivational Books or Resources for Web Development

I've been a frontend web developer for three years, but I took a break to explore other interests outside of software engineering. Now, I'm considering returning to web development but I'm struggling to find the motivation to get back into it. I'm unsure if I will enjoy this career long-term. Can anyone suggest some inspiring resources, like books, blogs, or YouTube channels, that could help rekindle my interest in web development?

One book that really shifted my perspective is "The Talent Code" by Daniel Coyle. It talks about how persistence and practice are key, and that everyone has the potential to succeed as long as they don’t give up. It motivated me to dive into my interests without the fear of failure.

You should definitely read "CODERS" by Clive Thompson. It reignited my passion for coding, showing how far we've come and the incredible impact of coding on our world. It's eye-opening and super motivating!

While there’s not a specific book just for web development motivation, consider reading books about engineers overcoming challenges or stories of hackers. These narratives can be really inspiring and relatable!

Motivation can be tricky to nail down; sometimes it’s all about discipline. Think about what you really want to achieve and what you want to create in your projects. Setting a clear goal may help you get started again!

Getting back into the swing of things can be tough. I highly recommend diving into "Eloquent JavaScript" or checking out the '100 Seconds of Code' videos from Fireship. Seeing how much has changed can remind you of the excitement of learning something new!
