Hey everyone! I'm trying to set up a distribution list in Exchange where the members can't see the "from" address of the emails they receive. I've tried creating some mailing rules, but unfortunately, they haven't worked during testing. My goal is to ensure that the members of the distribution list can't reply to the original sender. Is there a way to replace the sender's email with the distribution list's email? Or do you have other suggestions to achieve this? Thanks!

It's a good question! Hiding the sender's address can be tricky. Instead of trying to hide it, consider creating an email address for the distribution list and then granting the sender 'send-as' permissions. It simplifies things, and hiding the sender can lead to more complications, including delivery problems.

Ah, I see! But what if the users in the distribution list are external? 'Send as' wouldn't work then.
