Hey everyone! I'm a high school junior, and next year I'll be dual-enrolled at a tech school for web development. I need to pass a coding competency exam for my application, but I don't know anything about coding yet. The tech school pointed me to some Codecademy courses, but now they're behind a paywall, and I'm currently unemployed with no job until summer. I need to learn command line, git/GitHub, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from scratch before the application opens in May. Any suggestions for free resources? I'd really appreciate your help!

Just a reminder to do some research too—there's a lot of info out there! You can find similar questions everywhere. Just throw in a few searches and you might find even more resources like FreeCodeCamp or The Odin Project. Also, check out roadmap.sh for more structured learning paths.
The Odin Project is fantastic for beginners. FreeCodeCamp is also a super helpful resource, so you can't go wrong with either! Good luck!
FreeCodeCamp is your best bet! It’s completely free and covers everything you need to learn. The Odin Project is also great; it walks you through the basics step by step, including git and command line skills. Plus, for JavaScript, check out JavaScript.info—it’s pretty comprehensive and free, too!
