I'm having an issue with my Samsung S20 FE where the USB-C charging cable doesn't fit properly and frequently falls out. I've been using the same cable daily, and the connection is good when I test it with another phone. I've tried cleaning the port with a piece of plastic from a lid. Recently, I noticed there was dirt stuck on the sides, so I used a sewing needle to clean it out, covering the sides of the needle with tape to avoid shorting any pins. Has anyone else experienced this? What else can I do?

You might also want to inspect the cable itself for damage. If the connector is bent or somehow damaged, it might not fit as well in your phone. Just a thought!
It sounds like you might need to give that port another thorough cleaning. Lint and dirt can really get stuck in there and make it tough for the cable to connect properly. Be careful when cleaning; just make sure whatever you use won't damage the pins. It's great that you got a sewing needle to work, but just be cautious with anything metal!
As someone who's faced similar issues, cleaning is often the fix! I had a bunch of gunk in mine, and once I cleared it out, it started working perfectly again. You did well by being cautious with the needle!
I can relate! When I had my S20, it wouldn't charge unless I used the original Samsung cable. Some third-party cables are just slightly longer and they don’t fit as well. If your cable isn’t the original, that could be part of the issue.

Thanks for the tip! I found some dirt on the curved side of the port and the sewing needle worked wonders. I taped it for safety, and now the cable fits perfectly!
