Is anyone else experiencing issues with Outlook Web App today?

I received a call a couple of hours ago from users reporting they're unable to access the Outlook web app. For reference, the team that works on Sundays can only check their emails through a shortcut I created that opens Outlook in a Chrome incognito window. When I tested it, I noticed that after going through the sign-in process and completing the Duo two-factor authentication, the Outlook envelope just keeps refreshing without loading. I cleared all history, cache, and cookies, then created a new shortcut, but it had the same refreshing issue. Interestingly, when I created a shortcut on my own PC using the same method, it worked perfectly. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered problems with Microsoft services today or if it's possibly isolated to certain PCs.

It sounds like the shortcut might be caching the old, broken page state. Have your users try bookmarking the URL instead of using the shortcut—this could save you some troubleshooting time!

Totally agree! You might want to send out a quick guide on how to bookmark the site and create a desktop icon. If typing the address manually works but not the shortcut, it’s definitely a shortcut issue.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll suggest that and swing by in the morning with the instructions.

I did see an alert from my boss about issues with Outlook and Teams today. They mentioned that it’s being worked on, so an update should be on the way. Just keep an eye out for that!

I think you might be right! I just checked, and all our shortcuts are working fine today.
