How Can I Create Shortcuts for Published Apps on the New Windows App?

I'm trying to figure out how to create shortcuts for published apps on the desktop using the new Windows App. In the old Remote Desktop setup, it was easy to search for the app and make a shortcut, but with the new version, I can't seem to do that. I've tried going into the folder, but all I'm able to get is a shortcut for the Windows App itself. We're using Azure Virtual Desktop and have both a full desktop and published apps. If needed, I can share some pictures for clarification, but I would really appreciate any ideas on how to make it so a user can click a button to open the app directly.

It sounds like you’re having a tough time! If you can share a screenshot of what you're seeing, that might help clarify the situation for others. Have you looked into the new options available in the Windows App client for creating shortcuts? Sometimes, they add features that aren't immediately obvious.

Gotcha! I just checked out the new patch notes, and it looks like they added a way to create shortcuts directly in the Start Menu. That could solve your issue quite nicely!
