I've been using AM4 for ages and I'm ready for an upgrade! I don't want to invest in something that's just going to last a few years, so I'm looking into making the jump to AM5, especially now with everyone talking about RAM prices being high. I already have my GPU, PSU, and SSD. My question is, should I buy all the components now but hold off on the RAM until I can afford it, hoping the prices will come down? Or is it likely that RAM prices will just keep climbing?

What exactly are you sick of? Is it about wanting something new and shiny, or do you feel like your current build isn't cutting it anymore?
Are you really planning to just leave your parts sitting around for 2-3 years waiting on RAM prices to drop? What’s your real beef with AM4?
I've just been on it too long and feel like if I upgrade to another AM4, I’ll just need to upgrade again soon after.
By the time you save up enough, we could be looking at AM6 already! Just a thought.
I’m halfway there! I mainly wanted to know if RAM prices will go down or if they’re just gonna keep rising.

I just want a better experience overall! My current setup can’t really handle most games well, and I’m looking for good frame rates.
