I just purchased 128GB of DDR4 Vengeance RAM (4x32GB) for about $700 AUD. Can anyone share how much these sticks were selling for before the recent price hikes? I'm a bit worried I might have overpaid.

A year ago, I bought DDR4 32GB sticks for around 55€ each, so that brings it to about 220€ for four sticks in total. Your price seems a bit high right now, but that was before the big price increases.
Yeah, but that’s not a fair comparison since prices fluctuate a lot. If DDR5 had been more available, DDR4 prices would likely have dropped even more.
