I'm having a hard time with some video shorts on platforms like YouTube, Daily Motion, and TikTok. There's this clutter that pops up and it's really frustrating because it often blocks the captions. I rely on subtitles a lot since I watch many foreign films. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm hoping someone can give me simple advice on how to fix this issue. Sometimes I can expand during an ad, but recently that option hasn't been available.

What browser are you using? I mostly use Brave and that’s helped me avoid a lot of ads. I haven’t tried TikTok or Daily Motion, so I’m not sure about those. But if you’re on a different browser, switching might help!
